10/21/03 - Thank you
for posting the Zoning Hearing
information on 206 W. Timonium
Road on the website. I also like the
“memories” section.
However, the
officers are concerned about other information shown on the website.
It
would be appreciated if you would immediately delete the 2 sections
entitled
“Updates/Opinions” and
“Viewpoints” in their entirety. The
“moms”
section
should contain information about our neighborhood women´s
group.
They are
having a meeting on Thursday night and I can ask them to send you the
information they would like published. We should also have a listing of
all
the board members and their titles.
10/24 - I appreciate you toning down the website. All the
officers would prefer
that you would also delete mention of your opinions website.
Why
don´t you
delete that now and then you can bring up your idea at the November 3rd
Board meeting? I think it would go over better that way.
Thanks.
-F
11/4 - I know you are
disapointed that things did not turn out
the way you wanted
them to with the website. I think the current Board made the
right decision
confirming the June decision that the website be reviewed and approved
by
the Board and that there is an official website of the community.
11/12 - K told me
that she had offerred to buy pvvw.org from
you from $100
so that she could donate to the neighborhood association. Are
you
planning
on selling it to her? I assume you are still opposed to
having
the website
run by committee.
Let
me know what your
plans are. Thanks. -F
11/19 -
Mike
- I
hadn´t heard back from you regarding the website.
As you
know we
are putting the Pine Log together now and would like to confirm that
pvvw.org will be the community´s website. -F
11/23 -
Mike - The Board has not made a decision about
the website and it will be
on the agenda for next Monday´s Board meeting.
However, in
the meantime, it
would be appreciated if you would go ahead and reregister the website to
Pine Valley/Valleywood Community Association, Inc., P.O. Box 434,
Timonium,
MD 21094, with _________ as the contact name since he will be
head of
the committee. _____´s phone number for
reregistering it is
__________.
Thanks.
-F
11/24 - Mike - I was just
asking you to reregister the pvvw.org
website to the
neighborhood association. If you are not comfortable with sharing the
information on the website such as the historical info, that is
something
that could be worked out by mutual agreement. Do you want to
“save” that
info somewhere else for future discussion.
In
my previous e-mail
to you I indicated my concern that your independent
website might be confused with the official neighborhood website.
You never
answered me how that would be avoided. You cannot title your website
Pine
Valley/Valleywood as that would obviously be confusing. We
are an
incorporated neighborhood association and only we can use our name.
11/25 - I´m sorry you
misunderstood me. I understand
that you do not want to give
up the material on the website. I was just asking you to go
ahead
and
reregister the name to the association. We know of someone
individualy who
can host it and the GTCC has also made a suggestion to us. In
order to
reregister it, does a decision need to be made now as to where it will
be
hosted? Thanks. F
11/29 - At your
direction we have removed the pvvw.org from
the masthead of the
Pine Log. You are right, all this was decided at the last
Board
meeting.
After the Board meeting I thought K had indicated that you would
donate the pvvw.org website to the community association, but
apparently I
was incorrect.
The
Board appreciates
all the time and effort you have put in over the
years. However, we are taking a new direction with the website and think
that will be best be accomplished with a new committee and a new
website.

"It would also be appreciated if it were clearer on the opening page
that this is not the website of the community. Even though
you
call your website the "Independent," there is still confusion by those
logging on..." "The disclaimer that is printed (sic) at the
end
of the opening pages would be more effective if it were printed in a
larger font on the front page under the title and at the top of each
page."
"As I am sure you can understand, we are requesting that any
information/material that you present regarding any business of the
association be clearly presented as reported by an individual resident
of the community and not appear to be presented by the association or
the Board of Governors."
"Thanks for all your efforts to clear up this confusion and we look
forward to receiving a reply at your earliest convenience confirming
your agreement to adhere to these requests."
